Our former interns
So far we had two amazing interns from California, who spent 12 weeks in Switzerland. They were very carefully selected and did extremely important work for the Rusch-Group. One of them even became co-author of the new book of Alex Rusch and had guest appearances in videos. At www.alexrusch.com/video-messages you have the opportunity to see video messages of both of them. That way you will find out first hand what you can expect from this unique internship. For the right person this internship is the chance of lifetime. In 12 weeks with our company in Switzerland the intern will learn more than in 4 years of College.
Place of work:
Lenzburg and Birrwil in the middle of Switzerland (about 40 minutes to Zurich, 40 minutes to Basel and 45 minutes to Lucerne)
The view from our library to lake Hallwil
Our video-studio in Lenzburg wtih five cameras
Accommodation/transportation:
The intern has the possibility, if she or he wants, to live free of charge in the guest suit at the luxurious house of Alex Rusch with perfect view on lake Hallwil (guest bedroom, guest bathroom and a fully equipped guest kitchen that even has a dishwasher). The other possibility would be to get an Airbnb. There is a train station two minutes walking distance from the house and one minute walking distance from the office. The train schedules in Switzerland are very good. Our first intern used the train to go everywhere, even to Italy and Austria. Our second intern bought a 2200-Dollar-car.
How to apply:
As you can see, this is a really unique internship. Our goal is that we find an intern that is just as amazing as the other two were. Someone who is eager to learn, to implement and to accomplish a lot and who will be fun to work with.
Do you think you would be an amazing intern? If you, please send us a video application (just two or four minutes). Please answer in the video the following questions:
- First name, last name, city
- What do you do in life?
- What are two or three of the biggest accomplishments of your life?
- Why do you want to be an intern of the Rusch-Group?
- Do you want to do the internship in spring 2019 or summer 2019?
- What makes you the best candidate?
The video doesn’t have to be perfect – a video message with your smartphone is good enough. You could upload the video on Vimeo and add a password and then send me the link and the password to ruschjob@gmail.com. Or you could load it on YouTube unlisted.
Alex Rusch spends the winter in California (one month in Fallbrook, two months in Encinitas). Therefore the candidates that get in the final round can meet him personally here and spend some time with him before signing the contract. That way both sides will know if it is a good fit or not.
